The title track of the band's first CD "Just Perfect", written by Steve, was nominated for an APRA Jazz composition of the year award in 1992.

Steve is very much in demand as a player and teacher and has performed with such international greats as trumpeter Bobby Shew, saxophonist Richie Cole and vocalist Margie Baker.

Mal Sedergreen (Saxes) at 31 is an extremely talented and versatile saxophonist who plays tenor, alto and soprano saxes. His powerful presence remains with the audience long after a performance. He is also an accomplished composer having written all 10 tracks on the CD "Identify".

Mal has been performing since 1984 when he first gained public acclaim as a member of the great Australian Blues Band "Blues on the Boil". He is now a well known and respected member of the Australian jazz community.

Steve and Mal are currently joined by Dave Palmer on trombone, James Clark on bass, and Tony Floyd on drums.
