After their highly successful and much talked about performances together along the east coast, Rick Price and Mitch Grainger have recorded "2up", their first studio album. With a mix of both original songs and covers, "2up" blends the two artists' extraordinary vocal talents, creating a soulful acoustic album of deep grooves, great hooks and sublime harmonies.
Mitch Grainger and Rick Price first came together while recording music for " December Boys ", a big budget Australian film. It is during this time that they formed a mutual respect for each other's musical talents, they have been writing and recording together ever since.
1992 saw the emergence of talented Rick Price with the singles "Not A Day Goes By", "Walk Away Renee" and "Heaven Knows". "Heaven Knows" also achieved Top 40 status throughout Europe and the album of the same name achieved Platinum status throughout Australia and South East Asia . With three ARIA nominations and numerous Australian Music Awards behind him, Rick wrote and recorded his critically acclaimed platinum selling second album, " Tamborine Mountain " and reignited his solid "pop" sensibilities on his third album "Another Place". On his latest solo album “A Million Miles”, Rick returned to his organic roots, both on a musical and a personal level, achieving a sound that complimented the raw honesty of his lyrics.
Mitch Grainger's first foray onto the musical stage was as a teenager forming a band with Alex Lloyd,” Since then Music has taken Mitch Grainger to every corner of Australia , Japan and the USA . He has worked & played with like minded souls such as Harry Vanda, Malcolm Young, Chris Isaak, Little Feat, Eric Johnson, Sleepy La Beef & sister Kara Grainger. Mitch Grainger has recently released his debut solo album , "Love & Demons".
